I hope you are all aware of Valve’s upcoming multiplayer co-operative zombie shooter game Left 4 Dead. For those of you who are dying to get a glimpse of the game, here is some good news. You can take part in the initial multiplayer demo of the game, titled Early Demo Access simply by filling a form.
Early Demo Access requires a code to get in and is usually limited to those who pre-order the game from stores such as GameStop. Early access to the demo will run from November 6th through November 11th. Codes will begin being sent out on November 5th. If you follow the method below, you will get a free left 4 dead early demo access code, even if you did not pre order the game from a store.
How to obtain a free Left 4 Dead early demo access invite code:
1. Visit GameStop’s early demo access page from this link.
2. Fill out the Platform, E-Mail Address, First Name and Last Name fields. Leave Transaction ID field empty. Make sure you enter a valid E-mail since your demo access code will be sent to this address.
3. Press submit. You will be greeted with the following message:
Thank You! Early access to the demo will run from November 6th through November 11th. Codes will begin being sent out on November 5th.
Congratulations! You just made it into Gamestop’s Left 4 Dead Early Demo Access. Apparently the transaction ID field is not validated by GameStop’s system so it does not matter if you pre-ordered the game or not :) Give some time for the code to arrive in your inbox; it will definitely come.

I got my code few hours ago but dont worry if you didnt get yours yet. Apparantly some of those who actually did order from gamestop have not received the codes as well. So maybe they are being sent phase by phase.

It took me about 9 hours to get the code.
Got it just now with following instructions:
Access to the demo will begin Thursday, November 6 at 7am PST
1. Log on to www.l4d.com/demo
2. Double Click "Download Now"
3. Enter the Demo code when prompted
4. Enjoy the game!
Your Unique Code: bla bla
It took nearly a day for them to mail the code - i think it will eventually be mailed to everyone who followed the instructions correctly.
It's a pretty long wait for the code...

On the day the early demo came out and i got it on saturday.It took about 36 hours for the code to be delivered and i don't think hotmail emails will work.I tried with both my gmail and my hotmail and only my gmail account got the code
Do you think this will be possible for LEFT 4 DEAD 2 too? :)
