Here is some more good news for fans of old, rare and obscure movies. Classic Cinema Zone is a private torrent tracker which specializes in movies not usually found on the internet. It’s a similar tracker to Cinematik (if you are a frequent reader of FILEnetworks blog, there is a good chance you already are a member of Cinematik). That is, Classic Cinema Zone (CCZ) focuses on old, classic and obscure movie titles. CCZ is a fairly new tracker and currently it indexes around 500 torrents and has a user base of just over 1000 members. An interesting fact I noticed about Classic Cinema Zone is that it indexes torrents from external trackers such as Piratebay even though they operate their own BitTorrent tracker (external torrents can be identified using the ‘ext’ tag on torrent title).
Majority of the movies on CCZ are 700MB (1CD) or 1.38GB (2CD) DVDRips. Apart from movies, CCZ also tracks classic TV Shows (current TV content is nothing compared to bigshots like TV-Vault though) and some old radio shows. Keep in mind that this still is a fairly new tracker and like most trackers out there, will take some time to stabilize. Classic Cinema Zone is currently open for signup so check it out, especially if you like old and rare movies.

Just remember that if you make even ONE mistake (as my grandmother did the other day), they will ban you for life and though my aunt in England wrote to them, they wrote back and basically told her, in a very rude way, to stick it. "Bans will not be undone."
I do understand that there are creeps out there who do abuse any free situation, but to treat two old ladies like that just because they were too innocent to understand the rules at first, geez. I'm glad I don't like classic movies.
Boy, you're not kidding. I successfully registered last night and started downloading 3 movies. 1/3 of the way through the third film I found myself logged out. When I tried to login again, I was told my user name did not exist. I tried, succesfully I was informed, to register again using the same username etc. Again, it said my user name did not exist. I tried to re-register & I was told I couldn't register on the registration page but was given a link to another page, which rquired me to login. I gave up, turned the 'puter off tried again today. Now, the site won't allow me to even view it anymore - my browser says I have to be logged in to this site. There is no way, without logging in, of contacting anyone to find out if I have indavertently broken any rules (I left my completed downloads seeding - aside from that I'm ignorant of anything else I should be doing in terms of shared files etiqutte) or if it's a glitch in the system. It's very frustrating as I am a fanatical film noir fan & this site had many films I didn't have. I could also have shared from my own collection but i cannot even view the site anymore. Not friendly at all.
There seems to be something unusual about this tracker. I appeared to be seeding far more than I ever downloaded according to my bit client but my ratio never rose above 1.0. Eventually, whilst I was seeding two files, one of which no-one appeared to want, my IP got banned. The behaviour seems strange; no warnings, no explanation, just a ban!
I know you're bit torrent fans, but if you like old & rare movies, perphaps giving a chance to emule is not a bad idea.

I have no idea why I would be banned; I've been a member for almost two months, and my share ratio is over 2.0. And now, like you, I'm stuck without any way of contacting someone to see what I may have done wrong. I'm at a loss about what to do. Anybody else have an idea?
2 weeks ago my account there was deleted too, ratio over 1, my torrents were seeding at that time, but still got deleted. i created another account and asked in forums what did i do wrong and they delete that account aswell+ban ip.i guess that their dicks grows when they delete accounts or ban some ip's.
SquishyK and Honey, there's nothing you can do. For a few days, the administrator needs to validate the account before you can use it. I made one through proxy but still got deleted a few minutes later.
Similar experience to above users with getting account deleted and IP banned without warning and for no apparent reason. No luck contacting staff; I did get one PM back from a staff member but was unable to read it because I didn't have privileges to read the "Forum" because my account was still being "validated."
I recommend for everyone to AVOID this tracker as it is clearly run by a bunch of inbred morons who enjoy torturing cute kittens and throwing their own feces at passerby.
