Pirates Crack Saint’s Row 2 (PC)

Crackers from one of the oldest scene groups, Razor1911 (RZR), have cracked Saint’s Row 2 for the PC. As we mentioned earlier, Saint's Row 2 used Valve’s Steam protection to minimize piracy. Steam is known as one of the best solutions to game piracy but that does not seem to have stopped Razor1911 in this instance.

Steam is a content delivery platform developed by Valve software. Apart from offering complete digital downloads, Steam can also be used to authenticate retail copies of games (More info here). But has this stopped Raz0r1911? No. They have created a custom installer for the game so that it bypasses Steam authentication. The following is quoted from the release NFO:

“Due to the nature of steam, we had to create a new installer ourselves.
If you feel unhappy with this, buy the game and enjoy installing steam as an additional bonus! ”

Razor 1911 is one of the oldest groups in the warez scene and have been operating for more than 20 years. Far Cry 2 and Grand Theft Auto 4 are two of their most recent releases.

Developer Description
