Private Tracker Watch: Demonoid.com and IPTorrents open again – 27/1/2009

Here is a quick update on two more BitTorrent sites that are currently open for signup. Popular semi private torrent tracker Demonoid and private torrent tracker IPTorrents are both currently accepting new registrations. Demonoid is open to all users while IPTorrents (IPT) is only open to existing members of BWtorrents (BwT). You can register on IPT even if you are not a member on BwT but if the staff discovers that you aren't’, your account will probably be banned.

Signup Notes: Signup is only available via the special link mentioned above. It is supposed to be used by existing BWTorrents.com members only. However, everyone (including non BwT members) are able to signup using this link (link obtained from BwT homepage). If you are not a BwT member and still use this link to create an account,  both your account and the IP address will be banned if IPT staff discovers you. Members who signed up via the previous open signup link are safe from such potential bans (unless they do something stupid such as cheating).
