Happy new year to all FILEnetworks Blog readers! We start off year 2009 with our 12th free Demonoid invitation code giveaway. If you don’t know already, this is one of the easiest ways to get your hands on a Demonoid invitation code. Posted below are 64 invite codes. The first reader to use one of these codes gets a free Demonoid account. No strings attached.

We take this opportunity to thank all the readers who sent us invitation codes by E-Mail and also those who gave away their invites in the comments section of our previous giveaway threads. It’s always great to see people giving something back to the community.

As you may have noticed, there are over 60 invitation codes presented in this giveaway. This is more than twice the amount featured in the previous thread. So if you use one of these codes, please drop a comment saying “I used code number XX” so that others may not have to try out 65 different codes in their attempt to find an unused invite. This itself will be a great help to the community.

We have no control of this as more than 8000 readers visit FILEnetworks Blog daily and a lot of them looking for free invites. If this happens, try your luck with the next giveaway (giveaway section can be found here) or keep an eye on our private trackers section for the next Demonoid (and other private trackers) open signup update.

If you get “We are full. Sorry, since the server is too saturated, we can not accept more members at the moment.” error message, try the solutions mentioned in this article.

    A quick way to determine whether s code is valid is to visit the demonoid registrations page

    http://www.demonoid.com/register.php?with_invite=1

    Type the invitation code and then press 'Continue signup' button without filling other fields. If the code is invalid, you will get "invalid invitation code" error among other field errors. If you get other errors but not an 'invalid code' error, that means the code is unused and still valid.

    From what i've heard yeah, it's illegal to sell invitation codes.. One blogger posted that you might get a chance of having you account cancelled if one of the people you've shared your codes with would use it improperly. e.g. selling them. So it's important that you use them properly when you have them and trust that the people you share them with are responsible enough. I'm pretty sure no one would misuse them though, considering the difficulty of trying to acquire them.. I'll be standing by pushing my luck..

    Those who immediately got in won't be able to post Demonoid codes just now. Why? It takes about a month for Demonoid to add invitation codes for new accounts. So no point blaming them.

    Also, I don't think Demonoid has closed open registrations forever (and if the did, it's within their rights to do so as its THEIR OWN site). And every time they opened up, we've updated on the homepage on several different open signups in the past few months:

    It's usually once a month. Initially we used to post codes given by members in our own team. Now the codes are mostly from our readers. Even in this giveaway 55 codes sent in by readers as opposed to 10 by us. And this is not counting the 25 or so invites already posted in comments.
    There are still a lot of people who give back to the community so dont lose hope. And watch for a demonoid open registration as they usually open up every month or so.
