Popular private torrent tracker Torrent-Damage has been down for maintenance for the past week or so. According to the administrators of the site, the reason for the downtime is that they are upgrading to TDv2 - a new and improved interface for the site. Torrent Damage v2 was scheduled to go online on the 23rd of December but it remains offline as of today (25th December). There is however, nothing to worry about.
We’ve already got several emails from concerned members regarding the cause of the extended downtime. This is perhaps due to the notice on site’s homepage not being updated properly – it still says the site would be back up on the 23rd. TD’s IRC channel however has some fresh news:
The site is down until Boxing Day (26th) (estimated)
We are busy implementing a new front and back end name TDv2
Your accounts will get migrated and you will keep same stats
You will probably need to reset your password - these are encrypted and cannot be transferred
Stay tuned for more announcements, believe stuff only staff tell you :D
Read the TD Magazine while you wait http://magazine.torrent-damage.net/Winter_Edition_2008_9.pdf
Two screenshots of the upcoming TDv2 interface are also available [Screenshot 1] [Screenshot 2]. For latest news regarding Torrent Damage, you can simply visit their IRC channel and type !info command (while in the channel). Let’s hope TD will get back online soon and by the looks of those screenshots, the wait seems to be well worth it.

Kishan,
Thanks for reporting the error. Corrected it and sorry for the inconvenience.
Update from TD IRC:
""* The site is down until ERR: DATE UNDEFINED
* WE HAVE NO FIXED DATE TO GIVE SO PLEASE STOP ASKING WHEN
* We are currently migrating the user database to the new back end
* Stay tuned for more announcements, believe stuff only staff tell you :D ""
Thanks for the update but like me many members do not use IRC and would appreciate any updates to be posted on the main site if at all possible. Maybe a link on the main page to this site for updates might work as well but it's just a suggestion. Thanks and I hope you are up and running soon.
