Scene group PROCYON who are best known for their Clone DVD’s have released an image of Bully: Scholarship Edition for the PC moments ago. The Clone DVD can be mounted using a disk emulation tool such as Daemon Tools and apparently the game can be played without a modified exe. The following is from PROCYON’s NFO:

PROCYON . Release 151
Bully: Scholarship Edition (c) Take 2 Interactive

Game Information
Release Date...: 24/10/2008 Discs........: 1
Game Type......: Action     Protection...: None
Image Type.....: .iso       Archive Type.: .rar

Interestingly the NFO states ‘Protection – None’. A DRM free game after a long time? :) Way to go Rockstar!

Speaking of the game, it’s from Rockstar Vancouver and as with any Rockstar game, this raised a few eyebrows due to offensive and violent content when this was first announced. Game’s XBOX360 and WII releases have got good scores on Gamerankings so hopefully the PC version will also be awesome.

Also note the closing comments from PROCYON’s NFO. Worth a mention :P

We  are  the  result  of  your  laws.
We are the result of your  democracy.
We are the result of your corruption.
We are PROCYON - bringing you the finest quality!

Now bring on Dead Space and Fallout 3 :P

This game does not have that much violent or offensive content at all. It's only got a T (Teen) rating from ESRB.

i installed it on my PC and it lagged a lot due to my com's low specs..

but when i tried installing it on my laptop, which exceeds the minimum requirements, it always errors and says something about Bully.exe having a problem. anyone facing the same thing? any solutions?

    Jet,
What's the OS you are using? Vista? make sure your VGA drivers are up to date. This game is known to have a few problems and i've seen many people call it a bad port.

i tried reinstalling and updating all my drivers..

Jet, I'm having the same problem. I get an application crash message. No idea why. I tried reinstalling & updating too. i got nothin.

Mine crashes with a message about not having a DirectX 9 compatible soundcard. I have an onboard Realtek ALC888 codec which plays Crysis, so I am sure that isn't the real problem...

Looking on the net you might havesome max memory issues (I know i did), Bully does not seem to like more than 2000MB of memory.

You can force windows to only use 2000MB at startup, details at:
