About two weeks ago we posted about SceneRtorrents, a ratio free private torrent tracker. Today we bring you news of another similar torrent site; Dream Zonept. DreamZonept is a new general/0day tracker – it’s specialty is that there is no minimum upload:download ratio requirement unlike most other private BitTorrent communities. Both scene and non scene releases can be found on DreamZonept.
As we said above DreamZonept is a brand new tracker. As of 3/2/2009, it has a user base of 1200+ users and a torrents database with close to 1000 indexed torrents. Like most new private trackers, there is not much seeder activity on some torrents (usually 1-2 seeders) on DreamZone. Usually ratio free trackers require you to seed torrents for a minimum time period (i.e. 48 hours on GFT) but I could not find a similar rule on Dreamzonept. In fact their FAQ and Rules pages do not seem to be updated with tracker specific rules yet (these pages mostly carry the generic info given in the template).
Since this tracker is so new, nothing much can be predicted about its future. However since this is not a time when ratio free trackers are a rarity, DreamZone will have to offer something unique to its users in order to survive in the long term.

In case you didn't hear, CoExist is shutting down
I think CE is going to start again from scratch. Just so you know there is a CE recruitment thread on ThePirateSociety.
CE is starting new, like CE V2. They are switching from gazelle to TBdev. Also signups will be open.
In what way is Dreamzonept ratioless? They seem to have ratio rules and you seem to have a ratio :) Couldn't find anything about it on their site either.
