Celebrating 10 Million Unique Visitors

If anyone cares, we just served our 10 millionth unique visitor. This probably wouldn’t be a big deal for most sites out there but for a small tech blog like us it’s a huge milestone. We started this blog back in 2006 and we’ve now been online for ~3.5 years. However, during the first two years this site was almost dead – not much effort was put into writing original content and naturally, we didn't have that many visitors. It was in 2009 and 2010 FnB really picked up the pace. During these two years alone we have served 8+ million visitors with an average of 15000 visitors per day. Bulk of this traffic came from BitTorrent and PC games related articles. Some statistics from all aspects of the site are posted below:

• Unique visitors – 10,014,605 (refer to hit counter at page footer for up to date visitor count)
• Number of articles (since January 31, 2007) – 2429
• Average No. of views per article (2009/2010 period) - 4121
• Number of RSS subscribers - ~5400
• No. of Twitter followers - 1545
• No. of Facebook Fans : 440

That’s pretty much it. In the meantime, we offer huge thanks to everyone who read us, submitted news, sent feedback, promoted us, BitTorrent tracker staff who worked with us and numerous others who helped us in the last 3 years. Without you we would have quit blogging a long time ago.
