Great news for punk music lovers – Kraytracker is open for public registrations. For those of you who don’t know what it is, Kraytracker is a private BitTorrent tracker and a community which specializes in punk/ska/hardcore and other alternative music genres. It’s a highly sought after BitTorrent tracker which is almost always closed to the public (just do a Google search and you’ll see many invite request threads for Kraytracker). In addition to the torrents, this site is known for its close knit community of members.

kraytracker

As of 25/4/2009, Kraytracker has close to 3000 members and tracks over 6600 active torrents. It has a nice, clean layout that is very much navigable. Search features on this site are also very good with users being able to sort the results by many elements such as the no. of seeders, leechers, snatches etc as well as the ability to search for free leech torrents.

Speaking of the content found on Kraytracker, I'd say it’s similar to that of PunkTorrents (Open). A lot of punk/hardcore/rap (see categories below for more) music is tracked here, both old and new. Some of the torrents found on Kraytracker are pretty rare and not usually found on other music trackers.

As mentioned above registrations are currently open. Kraytracker is not a site that opens up frequently and we do not know for how long it will stay open this time around. Get in while you can.

    Not anymore they're not.
And perhaps if you hadn't advertised it to the world your account wouldn't have gotten disabled.

    Cockstain.

And what kind of asshole posts a screenshot of the torrents?

Are you going out of your way to get sites shut down?

    What a fucking epic douchenozzle.

I hope your balls rot off.

Sickboy, trackers like to make sure that they are getting the right members, so it is better to show a screen of some torrents, rather than let everyone in who 'thinks' that they want access to this tracker. Its recruitment 101 mate, why clog a tracker with members who get in there and realise it aint what they want. Screens only help out. Either way, if a tracker was that tight with their security, believe me, you wouldnt even know that they exist.

Do you think anti piracy agencies read blogs like these to find private trackers? What an ignorant fuckwit you are. They have people paid just to surf the web and hunt for copyright violations. Your oh so elite and secret trackers would be nothing if not for sites like file networks, fst and other bittorrent forums. Don't shoot the messengers and shoot yourselves in the foot.

if you dont want the world to know about your site why open signups anyway? By the way this is not the only place i found references to kraytracker. There are invite trading threads for this on boards that publicly advocate ratio cheating. i'd be more worried about those places rather than cursing here.

Well thanks. If i knew it Kraytracker had staff members such as you who can't discuss a problem in a civil manner, I'd have deleted the account myself.

Devin here and we will be doing random open days from now on. I'll be shooting at doing at least 2 random days of open reg per month.

We are.. civil, trying to have open registration days has always been put on the back-burner for obvious reasons.
