Yeah you heard correct. TorrentLeech, probably the world’s most sought after private torrent tracker, is giving away 10000 free invites to external users in celebration of the launch of their newest category, the PlayStation 3 games section. As we mentioned yesterday, TL was one of the first private trackers to start indexing PS3 games based on the newly released jailbreak for Sony’s popular gaming console. The invite giveaway was first announced on the TL homepage and a subsequent confirmation has now been posted on the site’s Twitter feed as well. The special invite code posted by w00t can be used by anyone and will support up to 10000 new free signups. In case you still don’t know, TorrentLeech is a hugely popular private tracker which indexes movies, games, music, TV shows, E-books and all sorts of other scene and non scene content. Those of you who still aren’t members, don’t let this golden opportunity go waste.
The announcement was first made on TorrentLeech’s homepage:

10000 invites is in fact quite a lot and will hopefully be enough for all of you dying for a TL account :). Additionally, this approach should be more straightforward and easier than the previous IRC invite giveaways (through which many of our readers got into TL) and should give you access to the site almost instantly. Whoever has joined recently...you might be wondering why TL doesn't have freeleech or bonus system, how would you keep your ratio etc..But don't be worried about that. It has got so many members that if you seed well enough you can go well beyond the required ratio of one. I think this is the best tracker to seed because of high no of leechers ( that doesn't mean that it has got less seeders. )

According to TorrentLeech's Twitter, they have added 10K more slots for the invitation code as the first 10k were used up in 6 hours.
10K invites were gone in less than 6h, so we RELOADED THEM!! 10K more into play!! Hurry up :)
While you guys do a great job on posting which trackers - i am a little fed up of all the hype - why again is this site the "most sought after??" With a total of 28000 torrents and NO freeleech system, And some quick searches comparing with leechers1air, czte4m and 1ptorrents, I doubt it will hold up. @ irrahan - the fact that these big trackers are full of members with seedboxes kills any hope of the regular users seeding back 100%. More and more users implies a pyramid system - and you should know by now that pyramids fall.

I dont care how much more torrents you think T0rrentLeech has or members - having NO freeleech means you aint gettin nun - without seeding for 2 years. YOu laugh at L33chersL4ir - well i download more GB's from L33chersL4ir than from IPt0rrents, b1tHDtv, Wh4tcd, BCg4ames and PTPP put together - ALL very much in high demand - but the thing is i aint downloading anything form a toplevel (nofreeleech) site when its available for free on a lame site like L33chersL4ir. The funny thing is that most of these hardheaded top level sites realize that accounts dont get used, and they end up opening up again.
Firstname, while TL does not, as you've stated, have freeleech, it is simply not required on a site of their size. 95% of torrents on the site have constant leechers allowing you to upload what you've downloaded in a short space of time.
Maybe instead of idly pissing and moaning about something of which you demonstrably know nothing, you join and see what all the fuss is about. Then you may actually be able to provide an informed opinion, instead of the vacuous rubbish you're currently spouting.
After all, empty vessels usually make the most noise.
TL is one of the best trackers ever. They got everything I've been a part of TL for years.
