There’s no need to reiterate the fact that Battlefield : Bad Company 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Thanks to the success of previous installments, the series now seem to have millions of fans across the globe. BF : Bad Company 2 is scheduled to be released on the 2nd of March in North America, 3rd March in Russia and 5th March in Europe. However, like all PC and console games these days, the title has leaked online several days beforehand. RELOADED, a veteran group from the warez scene pre’d a full DVD ISO of the game along with a modified executable that circumvent’s the game’s DRM, earlier today. However, quite a few pirates who downloaded this release seem to be having issues with the game – some even making the game unplayable.
According to comments on several file sharing websites, most BF : BC2 players seem to be having problems with mouse movements in game. Some players seem to be having inverted mouse movement (when you look left the in-game character looks right) while others can look at the sky or air (see YouTube video here). Some have reported odd behavior with keyboard controls as well as CTD or random crashes as well. Needless to say these annoyances make the the game almost unplayable.
There could be several explanations as to why this is happening. It could be a bug with the actual game or it could also be a compatibility issue with any of the controllers you have connected to your PC. If this is really the case, unplugging the controllers, restarting the PC and launching the game with Mouse + Keyboard setup should fix it. However if it’s a bug with the game you’ll have to wait for a patch from the developers.
Another more plausible reason is that these problems are caused by DRM triggers. BF : BC 2 is protected by SecuROM which can ‘break’ certain parts of the game if it detects someone has tampered with the protection. If the release group (RELOADED in this case) removed the DRM from exe without removing all triggers, it would cause showstopper bugs appear at various points of the game, making the gameplay a nightmare for pirates. Perhaps the problematic mouse movement is one such trigger. In this case pirates can only wait for a PROPER release – or they can just buy the game when it’s released in a couple of days :p

Moving jabberwocky.txt and pitoni.txt to the game folder fixes the mouse issues.
Indeed that does fix all mouse issues. Went through it yesterday trying to figure out what was going on lol
from where do i get jabberwocky.txt and pitoni.txt ? If its in the crack folder.. aren't we already suppose to transfer everything into the game folder? i'm downloading it right now.. also.. its the game suppose to release on march 2? is it really leaked?
The .txt files are in the crack directory on the iso. Apparently, some people thought the files were just there to look pretty.
Studios under EA unlike other game studios, like say blizzard, always make their deadlines. So the games are usually ready before release date. And our good pirates make sure we have them. Happens a lot, usually we get them 2-3 days before they reach the stores.But in case like this or Dragon Age a lot sooner. Sometimes its good for the games we bitch about glitches and they get to fix them fast... Like patches coming out a day after the game reaches the shelves
Bottom line game is 100% operating
For those with problems saving the game. You need to crate a new user Account on Windows, since for some reason the game isn't creating all the files in the Documents/BFBC2 folder.
All files should be:

i have a problem that i see a black colour on the screen that i cant see the people in front of me or the weapon i carry
Jabberwokey and the other file won't fit in the game file
Mouse and keyboard are okey. But my xbox kontroler have a mixed button configuration.
jabberwocky.txt and pitoni.txt do not fix all mouse problems. not for everyone at least.
for me, movement works but the fire and alternate buttons don't.
that makes the game unplayable.
I guess we'll have to wait for the official release, I was hoping to try it before buying the game but oh well.

I had a pleasure to play Bad company 2 (Reloaded) on Windows 7 x64. No problems with mouse or keyboard and no alternate fire problems ether. I`ve heard from my friends playn on XP that they have the mouse problem. Greetings
it loaded, played perfectly well....up until the end of the cold war driving mission. as soon as i destroy the chopper it goes to a black screen. doesnt close, just permanent black screen. cutscene error?

Nope, the mouse issues doesnt just affect pirates. I have a perfectly legal copy of BFBC2 but it wont recognize Logitech G5 buttons.

Get new arguments on gameplay suffering under capitalism. No executive director of any great game publishing company gets me to pay a full price and/or hardware upgrade only to experince a game with a lot of development been done not for the gameplay but only for marketing purpose, copyprotection, online authentication systems, anticipate of future investments.
Dont let them call you a pirate. It's criminalize of the costumer. The costumers right to fully test a product functions before spending your hard earnd money is bound to democracy. So the money is also hard earned for the executive director :-)

I added the two txt files and my mouse was able to move but I can only see upward AND downward… HOw to fix for looking Left And Right………..
