Here is a tracker we’ve been watching since its early beta stages. However by the time it went public, MVidBits only had 3 indexed torrents. Since no one would have bothered to sign up for a tracker with so few torrents, we decided to postpone publishing its review (we Twittered about it a long time back though). Well the wait has been worthwhile – MVidBits has quickly expanded its torrent index, recruited some members and is now showing signs of becoming a promising new specialized music video tracker. There aren’t many music-video-only torrent sites online and it’s not that easy to get into the ones that are around. In this sense, MVidBits’s launch seems to be a timely requirement.

Like several new recently launched private trackers we’ve come across, MvidBits runs on the Gazelle codebase. Since most of you should now be familiar with the feature set Gazelle has to offer, we wouldn’t go through it again. As of right now MVidBits’s Gazelle implementation does not have that many customizations over default version (other than stylesheets – there are 7 of these).

As we mentioned earlier MVidBits has recorded some rapid growth over the past few weeks. The site now tracks close to 275 music video torrents and has a user base in excess of 1600. Downtime issues that plagued the site during its first few days now seem to be resolved as well.

Coming back to the content on MVidBits, it’s full of music videos – you won’t find any movies or games here. There are both scene released content as well as p2p uploaded stuff. If you look at the pre times on some torrents, you’ll see that some are uploaded days after a scene release – a huge delay when it comes to private trackers. However I don’t think one should even care about pre times on this tracker – MVidBit’s aim seems to become a large repository of music videos – not just another racer site.

    @All
    The best time when i got invite was when they upgraded server and gave lots of invite ti users.

    AFAIK M-V charge donation for Invite.
    So I really suspect if i will spend money from some strangers.

    But still if U have Large M-V Collection + Nice Connection + Willing to Upload ..... Contact me at

    betalpha@hotmail.com

    I appreciate your reply, I won't tell you to spend any money for a stranger. I also -unfortunately- don't have any precious material to upload there, I was planning to make good ratio by seeding what I download :)

    Thanks again zoomby
