This one is an old gem. Used to play this with friends back in the late 1990's when it just came out. And it still is an addictive game now in 2008.
Mortal Kombat 4 was the last arcade game that Mortal Kombat had in its series. It is one of the few 3D fighting games to have been described as having "2D gameplay."

Well, this certainly was a hit, but I used to like the third part better.
However if I was to name the best fighting game ever Soul Calibur (DC) would be my choice.

As for soul Calibur never got the chance to play it but i vaguely remember playing it on the PC using an emulator. That was an SNES version i think.
