ExtremeShare – An Underrated Private Tracker Now Open

After several long months, ExtremeShare is open for signup. Our previous mention of this tracker was back in March 2009, when it was last open for public registrations. Since then our reader base has more than doubled so here’s an updated review in case you still aren’t a member. ExtremeShare (or ES) is a General/0Day tracker with movies, music, games, E-books, TV shows and lots of other content. You may never have heard of it but ES is a relatively popular tracker in the BitTorrent scene with lots of unique releases, tons of packs and even torrents uploaded by P2P release groups internal to ExtremeShare.

ExtremeShare’s roots lie in Romania, which is also the home of several other large scale 0Day trackers such as iPlay, CZTEAM, XtremeZone, TorrentBits and LastTorrents. ES another huge tracker with over 20000 indexed torrents and a strong user base. Actually we couldn’t find the exact number of registered users on this tracker. However it’s Alexa rank (~60000) and seeder/leecher stats on torrents (300+ seeds on popular torrents) give enough proof to back the ‘strong user base’ claim.

99 out of 100 General/0Day trackers out there pretty much index the same scene and P2P released content. However, ES is an exception when it comes to this. It does index all major scene and non scene releases but it also tracks unique, exclusive releases not available anywhere else. Unique torrents can easily be found using the ‘ES Torrents’ and ‘ESDVD’ sections located at the top of left sidebar (under ‘Tracker’ section). ES Torrents section lists torrents and packs upped by internal groups such GENTi, ES, etc while ESDVD section indexes untouched DVDR releases exclusive to ExtremeShare. There is also a high number of packs (435 to be precise) available on this tracker – these can easily be accessed using the ‘Packs’ link on top toolbar.

As mentioned in the title of this article, ExtremeShare is currently open for signup. Following notice is displayed on site homepage:

They have however made some changes to the signup page since the last time – it now includes a ‘ExtremeShare Test’ section which tests new users for basic knowledge of tracker rules. Read the rules and you should do fine. We don’t know till when the open registrations will continue so get in when you can.
