Long time readers of this blog may remember DVDRSource and TVSource private torrent trackers. These were two torrent sites that specialized in untouched DVDR movies and TV Shows, mostly scene releases. However, both these trackers ceased to exist in January 2010. Why? They merged together to create a new scene tracker called XNT or Excellent.nu. The merger has so far been a success with XNT being one of the fastest growing private torrent sites (in terms of new torrents) of 2010. Ever since it’s inception, Excellent.nu has opened registrations only once – and that was around 4 months ago. If you could not make it inside back then, here’s another great opportunity - XNT administrators have opened site registrations exclusively for FILEnetworks readers for a limited time.

XNT - Excellent.Nu

Just like DVDRSource and TVSource, XNT runs on SweDVDR’s source code (SweDVDR made their source public after the site shut down last year). The interface is clean, fast and is easy to navigate. There are multiple browse pages for new torrents (Browse page), older torrents (Archive page) and another separate index for MP3/0Day section. This section is home to scene released MP3 music albums, software releases and is always on free leech. However, XNT is not all about the looks. The site has been growing fast and it’s autouploader bots have been busy. Since January 2010, over 11500 torrents have been uploaded and close to 10000 members have signed up.

Although TVSource and DVDSource indexed only DVD movies and TV Shows, XNT’s torrent index goes beyond that. It indexes all sorts of content including software, MP3, E-books, games, etc apart from movies and TV series. Bulk of the uploads are scene releases. P2P content does get added and there is a significant number of packs uploaded as well. Some of these packs are exclusive to XNT. Although a Sweden based tracker, Excellent.nu is full of English releases. There are some DVDR releases for Nordic region but even these have English audio. Pre times and download speeds on XNT are pretty good.

XNT Index

As mentioned earlier, tracker staff have agreed to grant FILEnetworks readers access to XNT through a special open signup. Like most offers we conduct in our giveaways section, you are not required to provide any ratio proof, speedtests, go through interviews, etc – please do not abuse this and make sure to read the site rules, FAQ, allowed clients lists, etc after you get in. Note that this special open signup will only be valid for a limited amount of time.

Site Name: XNT (http://www.xnt.nu)

Signup URL: http://www.xnt.nu/signup.php

Important: The above signup URL will only work if you access it from within FILEnetworks Blog. If you want to tell your friends feel free to link to this article.

Special thanks to BethCooper and rest of XNT staff for the support given.

Here’s a pleasant surprise for all BitTorrent fans. GFT, one of the fastest general trackers in existence, has opened their official invites IRC channel which has been closed for more than a year. GFT is a General/0day tracker which indexes scene releases of movies, music, games, E-books, TV shows and pretty much everything else that originate from the warez scene. The site is known for it’s blazing fast pre times, sleek user interface, innovative user class system, fast download speeds, etc. Additionally, GFT is ratio free and is one of the most sought after trackers in the BitTorrent community. If you still aren’t a member of this tracker, the opportunity awaits you in their official IRC invites channel – if you play by the rules, you have a great chance of getting in.

GFT Tracker

Please make sure to read all the rules before logging into the Invites IRC channel.

Rules

  • You need to prove that you are a good BitTorrent user who are aware of BT best practices in order to get a GFT invite. Requirements are - ratio proofs from all private trackers you are currently a member of, their profile links and a current SpeedTest.
  • Have your ratio proofs, profile links and SpeedTest ready before you make the invite request (that is, before logging into the invites IRC channel). Delays will not be tolerated due to high demand and staff will move on to the next person if you fail to provide them quickly.
  • Do not spam the IRC channel. Wait for your turn before PM’ing anyone.
  • Folks from Romania, Egypt and Turkey are not allowed to request for invites. These countries are banned on the tracker.

Details of the official invites IRC channel are as follows:

UPDATE: Due to heavy demand, the invites IRC channel may reach its maximum allowed user limit occasionally. When this happens you will be transferred to the Invites Waiting Room instead.

GFT currently tracks over 11200+ active torrents and as mentioned earlier is one of the fastest scene trackers in existence. This is usually a private tracker that is considered difficult to get into – invites are hard to come by and signups are almost never open. Existing user base is very small (around ~1200 members) but are extremely active. GFT is gearing up for the launch of GFT v2.0 which is the next major milestone for the site. v2.0 includes a ton of new features including a complete overhaul of the visual layout  - some of the early screenshots are available on site homepage. Anyways if you do manage to get in, expect good things to come your way :)

Good Luck!

When it comes to downloading movies online, using peer to peer file sharing networks such as private BitTorrent trackers or using direct download link forums are very popular options nowadays. But those are not the only ways pirates can gain access to movies that are leaked online - watching them via video streaming sites is becoming an increasingly popular option as well. If you are a fan of video streaming, you might like the site that we are featuring on this blog today. The Hidden Archive (THA) is a large directory of streaming and direct download links for English movies, both old and new. In addition to movies, streaming links for a number of popular Television shows are indexed on THA.

The Hidden Archive

We’re not exactly sure how old this site is. From the looks of it, it’s a relatively new entrant to the file sharing community. It appears that the site is another side project of the folks behind new BitTorrent forum Bratva and Bratva.ws (which itself is still under development). Anyways The Hidden Archive already indexes a considerable number of movies and TV shows so it seems to have matured pretty quickly.

The Hidden Archive Screenshot

Unlike other streaming sites such as AZNV, The Hidden Archive does not serve any of the video streams itself. Instead, it indexes video streams found on external sites. A singles movie or TV episode usually has several streaming links from different sources for added reliability. Direct download links are also available but I’ve so far seen them only on a few indexed releases.

You can browse the entire repository of movies or TV shows indexed on THA through the menu on top left corner of the page. When you click on a movie title, you will be taken to it’s detailed description page. This page will have a host of information about the movie including production details, plot details and cast details. Most of the information on this page are hyperlinks – for example, if you click on the name of an actor, other movies indexed on THA which the same actor stars on will be displayed. If you click on the genre, a list of movies of the same genre will be shown.

One of the drawbacks of this site is that it does not (at least not yet) have a search feature. If you are looking for a specific movie, an easy way to find it would be to open the A-Z movie index and use browser ‘Find’ function (usually Ctrl + F) to match text. There is also no current way to browse the movie list by genre or by actor.

Anyways THA looks to be a promising new project and has seemingly gotten off to a great start. If you are a movie buff, you’ll want to check the site out.  Registration is optional but registered users will gain access to site invites and profile customizations.

Here on FILEnetworks Blog, we talk about Direct Download Link (DDL) forums quite frequently in our DDL Forums section. Just like private torrent trackers, these sites offer easy access to latest movies, music, documentaries, games, TV shows and pretty much everything else that leak online. A common characteristic of these sites is that they merely index download links – files are actually hosted on one click hosting sites such as RapidShare, DepositFiles, Hotfile, Mediafire, etc. This is where JDownloader comes in – it’s simply one of the best download managers for use with one click hosting services and is an essential tool to have if you rely on DDL forums to download large files (this applies for non-premium account holders as well). Download it, install it and watch JDdownloader pummel through multiple download links without user or web browser interaction at all.

JDownloader Icon

There are tons of good things that can be said about this application but let’s start with the basics – downloading a particular movie or TV release from a DDL forum. As you may already know, a single movie or TV episode is usually broken into multiple pieces (using WinRAR) and uploaded to one click hosters. Thus, each release has several download links and you need to download them all, place all parts in the same folder and merge them together to get the complete file. This can be painful and time consuming especially if you don’t have a premium account on whatever file hosting service you are using.

Enter JDownloader – with the latest version of JD, all you have to do in order to download a multi part movie is to select the set of download links in your web browser, right click and select Copy. The software’s built in LinkGrabber will identify the links, automatically check their online status and provide you with options to download the files via a user friendly interface (this behavior does not require you to install any browser add-on, script or plug-in– only requirement is to have JD running in background i.e. minimized to tray).

JDownloader Screenshot

Even if you don’t own a premium account, you no longer have to worry about entering captacha, wait times, etc with JDownloader around. It will auto detect the captcha with built in OCR module, manage wait times and eventually complete the download (all files) without any additional help from the user. Better yet, JDownloader can automatically merge and UnRAR downloaded files with the built in JD-UnRAR plugin.

There are tons of other features of this application in addition to the ones previously mentioned – some of the most notable ones are summarized below:

  • Support for over 100 one click hosting services including most popular hosters such as RapidShare, Megaupload, HotFile, FileFactory, Netload and many many more
  • Support for simultaneous downloads
  • Ability to avoid IP specific limitations with IP renewal feature (for dynamic IP connections only) – right click system tray icon and hit ‘Refresh IP’
  • Support for Metalink standard – specify multiple download locations for a single file
  • Support for premium account features
  • Automatic reconnect – right click system tray and hit ‘Enabled automated reconnect’
  • Password management – specify RAR file passwords when starting the download itself
  • Tons of additional functionality available through add-ons

Download

Written in platform independent Java programming language, JDownloader is available for multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, Mac-OS and more. Note that you will need to have Java Runtime Environment installed on your machine to run this software (if you don’t already have it that is).

[Click Here] to download the latest version of JDownloader from the official download page

[Click Here] to download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE)

Note: During JDownloader setup, you will be asked to install a browser add-on. This is optional and cancelling will not affect JDownloader installation in any way.

Now that you have JD installed and in case you are running out of things to download, check out our DDL Forums section – among the sites featured there (and the ones that will be introduced in the future), I'm sure you won’t run out of download links again :p

When the world’s largest private torrent tracker makes a drastic change to their ratio system, it’s always big news in the BitTorrent community. RuTracker.org (formerly Torrents.ru) has rolled out a new feature called the Time Bonus system which pretty much makes the whole site freeleech or ‘almost’ ratio free. Up until now, Torrents.Ru required users to maintain a minimum global share ratio if they were to survive a ban. However under the new system, all ratio based warnings and accounts bans will cease to exist. Ratio will essentially be replaced by time bonus points. Time bonus points are automatically gained when you seed downloaded torrents, regardless of the actual amount of data you upload back. This should be good news for low bandwidth users and those who struggled to maintain a healthy global ratio on this tracker.
FYI: By popular demand, we have put together a short guide for English speaking users on how to download torrents from RuTracker – continue reading for more information.

RuTracker

Following is a translated version of the Time Bonus explanation thread on RuTracker forums – we used Google Translate to translate the Russian version and then re-wrote it so that it made more sense – the automated translation was a little confusing:

Friends
On April 10, 2010, we introduce a Time Bonus system. Created it in order to encourage users to support the distribution, leaving them seeding for as long as possible.
The system works very simply - for 3 continuous hours of seeding the same torrent you acquire 1 Time Bonus (TB) points. If you seed a torrent for 6 hours you will gain 2 TB, if you seed it for 24 hours you will gain 8 TB. The more torrents you have seeding on your computer, the more points you will gain.
You can utilize time bonus points to download additional torrents. The more Time Bonus points you have - the greater the number of torrents you can download daily.
The rules are very simple - if you do not have any Time Bonus points - you can only download 3 torrents per day.
If you have a 5 TB - you can download one additional torrent. If 10 – you can download 2 torrents. 15 TB means you can download three torrents.
You can see the number of Time Bonus points in your profile.

Little FAQ
1) How often are Time Bonus statistics updated? - Once a day.
2) What is the maximum number of torrents you can download per day? - 100. For this you have to have 500 TB.
3) What is the maximum number of time bonus points you can have allocated to your account ? 50 000. The maximum number of TB points you can earn per day is limited to 1000.
4) Can I buy, sell, exchange TB? NO.
5) What about the ratio? RATIO CONTINUES TO BE, but limitations associated with it,  will cease to exist after 18 February 2010.
6) I have a lot TB, how did I get them? We have converted your ratio to TB points
7) Can you return to the ratio system and leave everything as it was? NOT BECAUSE RATIO IS EASILY cheated.

Bear with us if there are any mistakes in the article – no one in our team speaks Russian and Google translate was the only help we had. If there are any corrections to be made, please post them as comments.

If you still don’t understand the time bonus (taymbonusov?) , here’s a brief summary of how the new system works:

  • You can download three torrents per day for free. Yes, the first three torrents you download each day are not bound by time bonus points requirements or ratio requirements.
  • If you are to download more than three torrents a day, you will need to have Time Bonus points allocated to your account.
  • Time bonus points are obtained by seeding downloaded torrents – you gain 1 TB for every three hours you keep a torrent seeding. If you seed two torrents for a total of 24 hours, you will gain (24/3) * 2 = 16 Time Bonus points.
  • A new torrent (in addition to the free 3 torrents allowed per day) will cost you 5 TB.

By looking at the explanation given by RuTracker administrators, it looks as if ratio cheating had a lot to do with the new changes. RuTracker has nearly 5 million registered users and I’m sure there are plenty of ratio cheaters among this user base. But are the new changes the best way to combat ratio cheating? The site tracks over 800000 torrents and the removal of the ratio system may affect the health of these already indexed uploads, some of which are pretty huge. Anyways it’s too early to predict the success or failure of the time bonus system - hopefully, it will be a win-win situation for both end users as well as site staff.

Despite the recent changes, RuTracker continues to be an excellent BitTorrent tracker. It has a huge collection of torrents ranging from latest scene releases to rare gems found only in the darkest corners of the internet. And plenty of these releases are in English. Don’t believe us? Have a look at their torrent categories section below (translated version):

RuTracker Index

However one of the main drawbacks with this site (and one of the reasons it’s relatively unpopular with international users) is the Russian interface. The site is completely in Russian and there is no built in option to change the language to English. If you don’t know Russian, you can still browse RuTracker with the help of a  translation service – the section below should help international users download torrents from this awesome tracker.

Tips for English speaking users

Even if you use a translation service such as Google translate, it is likely give you trouble when it comes to logging in or downloading the .torrent file (as these types of services seem to reset form data upon submit). There are several workarounds for this problem.

Use the tracker search

Although not many are aware, RuTracker’s BitTorrent tracker has a built in search functionality. You can use this to your advantage and easily search for torrents you need.

  1. Visit http://rutracker.org/forum/tracker.php.
  2. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in.
  3. Enter a search term in one of the fields and hit search.
  4. Scroll down to find a list of results associated with the search term. You will be able to identify most of these search results even without the help of a translator.

You will even be able to sort results by number of seeders/leechers, etc as the search is linked to the tracker. Alternatively, you can use http://rutracker.org/forum/search.php to directly search the forums.

Browse and find the torrents

You can browse the forums through a translation service just fine – issues only arise when you try to log in. First, you can browse a translated version of forums and find the torrent you want downloaded (we mean the link to forum thread where torrent description is found)). You can then paste this link on a new browser window and download the torrent normally. This way you will avoid login issues that are attributed with most translation services out there. Step by step guide below:

  1. Visit Yahoo! Babelfish translation service at http://babelfish.yahoo.com
  2. In the ‘Translate a web page’ field, paste http://rutracker.org/forum/index.php. From the drop down menu choose ‘Russian to English’ and press translate.
  3. Translated version RuTracker main index will load. Do not login at this point.
  4. Browse the threads and find the torrent you are looking for. When you have found the correct thread, right click thread name and copy the link location.
  5. This URL will be something like http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/translate_url_content?.intl=us&lp=ru_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2frutracker.org%2fforum%2f.%2fviewtopic.php%3ft%3d1465304
  6. Paste the URL in a new browser window, delete the translation related part from the link (highlighted in bold in above link) and press enter.
  7. You will be prompted to login – this page will be in Russian. When you log in, you will be taken to the torrent download page. You can now download the torrent without issues.

One of the best places on the internet to find and download Nintendo games just got better. The popular private torrent tracker nTorrents (NT) is now powered by a brand new auto upload server ensuring better indexing of scene releases at faster pre times. In addition, plans are afloat to populate the newly created direct download links section on NT forums which is pretty much inactive right now. Anyways that’s not all the good news we have from NT –  public signups have been opened once again and the site is expected to remain open till the user limit hits 20k members or at least for a few days until it’s manually stopped by staff. Last open signup for NT was on February 2010 and if you missed out back then, here’s another chance to create a free account on this usually invite only BitTorrent tracker.

nTorrents

A news post on the new server purchase appeared on NT about a week ago:

We would like to extend a personal thanks to all the donors and members that make NT the place that it is. We were able to get a new auto upload server.
Quad Xeon 2.83ghz
8GB RAM
2x750GB RAID 0
1Gbit/200Mbit – OVH
Expect lower pretimes in the future. As a special thanks to the NT community, site is on freeleech until Sunday! Happy Easter, have a great weekend.
If any donors didn't receive their benefits, please send me a PM.
- NT Staff

Of course, nTorrents did make use of an autouploader bot prior to the new purchase. However, the new server is said to be 3x faster and is expected to do a better job at uploading scene releases to the tracker.

For those who have not heard about nTorrents before, it’s a specialized Nintendo games tracker that runs on Gazelle codebase. NT is a well established torrent community with over 16500 users and 3700+ active torrents. Speaking of releases, nTorrent does not only index scene releases – they do have a lot of p2p originated content available as well. Examples of such non scene content are complete console game sets which are essentially huge games packs categorized by name. DVD Images as well as ROMs for a number of different Nintendo consoles including Wii, NDS, SNES and more are available. For a detailed description of the content on nTorrents, screenshots and additional information, please refer to our previous review located here.

As mentioned in the first paragraph, signups for NT have been opened again. A news post on homepage reads:

Signups have been opened. This will last until we hit 20k users or it is stopped manually. Please take advantage of this opportunity by letting your friends know.

Note that NT has an official IRC invites channel where staff hand out invites to potential new members. Anyways you can now use the signup URL below to create an account for yourself, without going through any interview.

DIDIDave ( aka CDDVDHeaven.co.uk or DDT) is one of the oldest private torrent trackers currently online. It’s been around since forever and has continuously managed to impress it’s users with good pre times. DDT is a general tracker that indexes all sorts of content ranging from movies, music to latest games. We constantly get emails from readers asking for what tracker the abbreviation DDT stands for – apparently a lot of folks see it appearing on IRC tracer channels and web based tracers such as TRAC3.ME. In other words DidiDave frequently comes on top of pre time wars and torrent races (considered by many as a positive factor when it comes to 0day trackers). Anyways registrations are currently open and if you want in now’s the time to create an account.

DidiDave

With over 19000 registered users, DDT is by no means a small tracker. After years of being online it has managed to create its own small community of loyal members. As of 8/4/2010 the tracker currently indexes 3700+ (active) torrents including both scene and non scene releases. And in case you were wondering, yes they do make use of an autouploader bot for faster torrent indexing.

top tracer

DDT generally indexes almost all major scene releases. In addition, there is a considerable number of user uploads that are probably unique to this tracker – search for torrents starting with the name DDT and you will find some nice goodies here, such as those popular mid week MP3 packs.  Speaking of releases, DDT is one of those trackers that has multiple browse pages. Scene releases, user uploads, MP3/0Day torrents and free leech torrents can all be filtered using the top main toolbar itself.

As said earlier, pre times are one of the main attractions on DDT. It may not be as fast and as consistent as GFT or SCC but torrents do get indexed extremely fast here. According to web based tracer TRAC3.ME’s all time statistics, DDT is among the top 5 fastest trackers to have releases uploaded after they are pre’d on scene topsites.

Signups for DIDIDave are currently open. It’s a pretty straightforward process but you will not be able to use a free email account. Usually, the email account from your ISP should work fine.

Great news all around – one of the best General/0Day private trackers in existence, iPLAY, has opened trial registrations for all users. If you are confused by the term ‘trial registrations’ here’s how it works. A trial account is a special iPLAY account which has certain limitations. This is valid for 7 days – within these 7 days, you need to prove that you are a good BitTorrent user. If you maintain a good ratio, avoid hit and runs and generally follow what’s said in the site’s FAQ and rules, you should be able to keep your account after the trial period ends. Oh and you need to maintain a global ratio above 1.5 as well :) It’s all good but there is a catch – the signup process can be a b1tch and you might have to spend a little time trying to register. But read our tips at the end of this post and you should be good to go.

iPLAY

Before we continue to the ‘how to signup’ section here’s a little rundown on iPLAY. iPLAY is one of the world’s most sought after General/0Day private trackers - there are almost no open signups for this site and you can see iPLAY invite requests on almost every BitTorrent forum on the planet. And it has high demand for many for good reasons – the tracker has great download speeds, good pre times, content rich torrent index with ~12000 torrents and of course, an active community of seeders and leechers. Both scene and P2P releases are available for download including some exclusive uploads by iPLAY’s own internal release groups. After the launch of iPLAY v4, the site became even better with dazzling new visual styles and themes that are a pleasure to navigate  - to read more about iPLAY v4 please refer to this article.

iPLAY Index

The screenshot above highlights part of iPLAY’s torrent index. Here you can see some of the many packs that are indexed on this tracker.

Anyways let’s get back to the topic at hand – trial registrations. As mentioned earlier, a trial account has several limitations and a list of them may be found below:

  • Account is valid for 7 days.
  • Account has a download limit of 7 torrents.
  • Account has a download limit of 7GB.
  • Account has no right to make requests.
  • Account has limited ( read only ) access to forum.
  • Account has no right to send private messages.

After the 7 day grace period, it’s possible to convert your account to a full account and become a ‘normal’ user. There are two methods to get promoted (quoted from site):

  1. After the 7 days trial period if your global ratio is 1.5 or greater you are eligible for promotion, but promotion must be approved by staff.
    OR
  2. By making a donation, in this way your account will be converted from trial to full automatically.

How to sign up

iPLAY signup process is a little more complicated due to the number of checks and verifications that are built into it. Tips below should help you overcome this hurdle.

  • You need to read the FAQ and Rules pages. Before you hit the signup button, open these two pages on two new tabs on your browser and start reading. We know most of you skip through these on trackers but in this case make sure to actually read the content – iPLAY has some custom rules (such as minimum monthly download requirement) and you will need a good understanding of them to survive the trial period. If you close the pages too quickly and hit signup, an error message ‘take the time to read FAQ and rules’ will be displayed.
  • You need to correctly answer all 3 BitTorrent related questions on signup page. Get any one of them wrong and you will only be able to try again after 12 hours.
  • Your password must be at least 8 characters long.

Signup URL and site homepage details are as follows:

Site Name: iPLAY (http://www.iplay.ro/)

Popular music torrent tracker What.cd has been experimenting with their ratio system lately. After a major overhaul of the said system last January, What has now gone in an implemented yet another change – it’s users are no longer disabled even if they fail to keep up with the site’s ratio requirements. The new changes relax the rules on ratio and should help users who are struggling to keep up with the site’s upload:download requirements. However, that doesn’t mean members are now allowed to hit and or to not care about their global ratio at all – those who engage in these bad practices will still face consequences as explained the following announcement from site staff:

New ratio policy

Now that you're all buffered up, we have another piece of news - we will no longer be disabling accounts for low ratio. Instead, if you are unable to get your ratio above your required ratio after two weeks of ratio watch, your leeching privileges will be revoked until your ratio is above the 0% seeded requirement for your downloaded amount. Your leeching privileges will be automatically given back when that requirement is met.
We will, however, continue to automatically disable accounts which download over 10GB while on ratio watch.

It still should be great news for folks who are having issues with low ratio. The tracker has become more forgiving and now seems to offer users a chance to correct themselves before getting dumped from the site at once.

How to get into What.CD

If you still aren’t a member of What.CD, this article would have been of little or no use to you. Although we cannot give away What invites like some other sites due to rules, it’s not an impossible tracker to get into. One of the safest and most reliable means to obtain a free invite is via their IRC interview. If you didn’t know already, What.CD engages in IRC recruitment and there’s even an official ‘interview prep’ site online. On the downside, there a lot you need to know in order to pass the interview. For a step by step guide on how to get to the interview channel, how to prepare for it, etc please read our article “Free What.CD invite via IRC interview – How to get in”.

With so many specialized movie torrent trackers and DDL forums around, you’d think you have access to all the flicks internet has to offer. However, there are some sites waiting to be discovered that index content not found anywhere else – yep, sites like Surreal Moviez. Surreal movies is a huge direct download link forum with tons of movies – unlike most other similar sites of this genre, SM focuses on non mainstream flicks - “Here at SurrealMoviez, the focus is away from the mainstream, leaning heavily towards experimental movies, surreal movies, independent movies, extreme cinema, artistic movies... etc...”. SM offers direct downloads to a diverse set of content spanning across several decades – from movies made in early 1900s to late 2000s. Both English and non English flicks are indexed.

Surreal Movies

It may not be the most talked about DDL forum on the net but Surreal Moviez is pretty big. It’s index is huge by any standards and contains 25000+ titles. This includes movies, shorts and documentaries. As said above there is a diverse variety of content here – SM has retro, classic movies made in early 1900s as well as new, modern movies produced in the late 2000s. In addition to the large number of English movies available, SM indexes many non English movies such as those in Russian, French, Italian, Mandarin, German, Korean, Romanian (and the list goes one).

Surreal Movies Index

Having a huge amount of movie download links would not do any good unless they are organized properly. Thankfully, SM does a pretty impressive job at presenting what it indexes. The main browse page is well organized and each movie displays Year, Director, IMDB rating, Country and Language information next to it’s title. You can search for a movie using the built in search or browse the index in alphabetical order. There are some other cool features such as Directors collections, actors/actresses collections, other movie collections, etc – all of these are accessible through the ‘Movies Section’ located on top of left sidebar. Individual movie description pages are also detailed and come complete with screen captures, cover art, movie summary and of course, download links.

Speaking of download links, Surreal Moviez does not host any files on it’s own servers. However, it indexes verified, non fake download links to files hosted on services such as RapidShare. Some of the file are password protected and the password is usually given in movie description page.
