One Big Torrent is a torrent tracker and an index which lists torrents related to Current Affairs, News, Talks, Politics, Interviews and other similar content. You can find torrents of TV Series, Videos, Audiobooks, E-Books and Magazines under the categories mentioned above. It’s a unique site/tracker which allows sharing of a lot of uncommon and rare content.

OneBigTorrent do have their own tracker but they index a lot of torrents from public trackers (Piratebay, Dennis.Stalker, etc) as well. Currently there are around 3000 torrents indexed at OneBigTorrent.org. See screenshot below to get an idea of the content indexed there:

Yep. The one of oldest groups in the PC game scene have come back to show everyone how it’s done. Razor1911 claims to have cracked the Securom DRM protection in Far Cry 2 and have released a modified executable along with an ISO image of the full game. It seems that this modified exe will work with the previously leaked CloneDVD; The sizes of both are almost identical (both around 3.7GB).

You can get this from Yahoo’s official page but it’s a web setup meaning it will download a few kb setup file and then download the rest of the files over the internet. Scene group HEFTY pre’d this release around 10 minutes ago. This is the 3rd DVD Screener (DVDSCR) HEFTY have released in the past week (First two being Pineapple Express and Step Brothers). They sure seem to be having access to a great inside source.  The release is standard 1CD (700MB) and has decent picture quality as per the sample. Expect this to be downloaded heavily as it makes its way onto public trackers soon, given the huge popularity of the movie.

Tropic Thunder has an IMDB rating of 7.7 which is decent by any means.

Tropic Thunder is a 2008 action comedy film produced and directed by Ben Stiller and written by Stiller, Justin Theroux, and Etan Cohen. The film stars Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. as a group of prima donna actors making a Vietnam War film when their fed-up writer and director decide to abandon them in the middle of the jungle, forcing them to fight their way out.

While everybody is waiting for a fix for Far Cry 2, RELOADED have silently pre’d this latest installment to the NBA 2K series. What’s interesting about this release is that NBA 2K9 is distributed via Steam content delivery system. It does not seem that this has bothered RELOADED; they’ve created their own installer for the game and released it to scene topsites moments ago.

HD-Bits.Ro, which is one of the best private torrent trackers out there for for HD content, is back online after several days of downtime. This tracker suffered from frequent downtimes due to DDOS attacks and whatnot, but hopefully these should be problems of the past now that they have moved to a new ISP. The following is a notice from the site homepage:

They seem to have upgraded the site layout as well. It says HD-bits.ro v3.01 beta on the title bar and the interface is clean and more navigable.

As for the content, HD-Bits.Ro is a private tracker dealing exclusively with High Definition content. There is currently an index of over 2500 torrents on this tracker. This includes HD Movies, HDTV Shows, high quality x264 encodes, Blu-Ray rips and more. Apart from the HD video content, there are around 500 torrents in ‘Lossless Music’ category. Most of these torrents are well seeded.

A DVD Screener of the popular 2008 comedy movie Step Brothers has leaked to internet. Scene group HFFTY are behind the leak. This is the second DVDSCR leaked by HEFTY this week, first one being Pineapple Express. The video and audio quality are decent for a DVDSCR and there are no watermarks or countdown timers visible in the caps.

I have not watched Step Brothers yet but it seems to be a nice comedy flick with a decent IMDB rating. 

 

Step Brothers is a 2008 comedy film directed by Adam McKay, produced by Judd Apatow and starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, who last teamed up in Talladega Nights (2006). The film was released on July 25, 2008. The screenplay was written by Ferrell and McKay, from a story written by Ferrell, McKay and Reilly. Jimmy Miller and Judd Apatow are the two producers of the film. The film will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 2nd, 2008.

The film has been rated R by the MPAA for "crude and sexual content, and pervasive language."

Zinebytes is a private torrent tracker of Swedish origin. This tracker specializes in E-Learning content/E-Books and tracks quite a lot of content in this niche. There is some bad news for non Swedish users though. From signup page to the user interface, everything is in Swedish. But if you are familiar with private trackers, you should be able to find your way easily as the layout is similar to most other trackers (See translation below if you are stuck). Zinebytes does track a lot of English content apart from Swedish torrents. You can find the English torrents on categories with/Eng at the end (i.e. Eböcker/Eng is for English E-Books).
