I was waiting for this ever since the pilot aired. I used to watch every single episode of the 1982 TV series in all four seasons. Then there was Team Knight Rider which I think sucked big time and had no real connection to the original storyline. That makes the 2008 series the first true sequel to 1982’s Knight Rider so I hope this show survives for several seasons just like the original. The 2 hour pilot of the 2008 series looked good (except for the ford ‘advertisements’) and the first episode looks even better. Needless to say that there are torrents of this episode all over the web and you may search for one using the links in Downloads section below.

DigitalHive (DH) is a private torrent tracker that tracks general/0day content. The site is usually invite only but at the moment it has open signups so new members may get in without the need of an invitation code. Digital Hive has been around for some time and it’s user base now exceeds 20000. There are over 100 active torrents on the tracker both scene and non scene releases.

Apart from common content you can almost find on any other general tracker, DH has several excellent packs of their own.

More trouble for SecuROM as more scene groups show their ability to pwn the DRM protection repeatedly. Group ViTALiTY, after having a relatively silent month, have surfaced with a cracked version of Lego Baman which was released a day before in North America. There was a CLONEDVD of this game earlier today by scene group PROCYON. ViTALiTY release includes a fixed exe which has the SecuROM DRM removed (Lego Batman uses SecuROM 7.37.0014 ).

EGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin, as well as bonus hero Nightwing to fight Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, and many more. Players can also explore their wicked side and fight their way through the game as the villains, experiencing the game from a completely different point of view with all-new criminal objectives. With a collection of high-tech suits, gadgets and cutting-edge vehicles on hand, players are able to step into the unique LEGO Batman universe to bring super villains to justice or, as the villains, to run amok in Gotham City.

 

Features

• Each story is playable from either the Hero or Villain point of view. (For example, in the aforementioned levels, you could also play as Catwoman trying to steal the diamond or as Batman trying to rescue Commissioner Gordon.)
• You’re able to switch characters without being next to each other, unlike in the previous “LEGO Star Wars” games.
• The camera has been adjusted from the “LEGO Star Wars” series to pan back further and further away (but not too far) when the players are separated in two-player mode.
• There will be strictly vehicular levels in the game, although Doyle declined to say what they would be. (The press release states that the Batmobile, Batwing and Batboat will be available.)
• There will be collectibles. While I did see objects that looked like the “mini-kits” from “LEGO Star Wars,” Doyle said those were place-holders. “It will be a similar sort of system [as 'LEGO Star Wars']. The collectibles are different; they’re not to collect vehicles, they’re to collect other trophies. We’re going to design them to be more Batman-style.” There will be 10 per level.
• The music I heard in the demo was most definitely Danny Elfman’s compositions from the “Batman” films. While Doyle did confirm I was right, the team is still “finalizing the arrangements.”

Version 9 of the popular Instant Messaging client Yahoo Messenger just got released. This is a Final version (not a beta) of the app and is now directly downloadable from Yahoo’s official site. Yahoo’s download however is a web setup; you download a 425kb setup application to your HDD and the rest of the required files are downloaded through this setup program. MazeTorrents is a fairly new private tracker which tracks a decent amount of general/0day content. It is evident from site messages and some releases that MZT is of Romanian origin. However the interface and most of the content it tracks is in English. Apart from usual uploads, they do have a requests section where users can request releases currently not on the tracker.
