New player models and updated career records are only added to South Africa, Australia, England and Bermuda (Yes Bermuda. It is a new addition). Other countries simply retain the Cricket 2005 records and player base. But there is one more issue. Player names for countries other than above mentioned are all misspelled (how careless can developers be?). You'll have to go to player management and correct each player's name to fully enjoy the game.
