R5 of Righteous Kill leaked to P2P

Posted by TEAM FILEnetworks | 9/25/2008 | | 0 Comments »

If my memory is correct, this movie was just released in the US. It’s surprising for an R5 rip of the to surface this early but it sure looks like the real deal. The rip has already made it to Usenet and private torrent trackers (and of course it’s leaked from scene topsites as usual) and will soon make it to public tracker such as TPB. Veteran scene group PUKKA is behind the release of Righteous Kill R5 so very few people will have doubts about this given PUKKA’'s reputation. For more information about this release including screens and .NFO, please see this link.

IMDB Plot Synopsis

Academy Award® winners Robert De Niro (Raging Bull) and Al Pacino (Scent of a Woman) star as a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in the adrenaline fueled psychological thriller Righteous Kill, directed by Jon Avnet (Red Corner, Fried Green Tomatoes) and written by Russell Gewirtz (Inside Man). The cast also features hip-hop superstar Curtis Jackson (Get Rich or Die Tryin).

After 30 years as partners in the pressure cooker environment of the NYPD, highly decorated Detectives David Fisk and Thomas Cowan should be ready for retirement, but arent. Before they can hang up their badges, they are called in to investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they solved years before.

Like the original murder, the victim is a suspected criminal whose body is found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. When additional crimes take place, it becomes clear the detectives are looking for a serial killer, one who targets criminals that have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. His mission is to do what the cops cant do on their owntake the culprits off the streets for good. The similarities between the recent killings and their earlier case raise a nagging question: Did they put the wrong man behind bars?

Well I didn't quite expect this. A DVDR (not a DVDRip) of the popular superhero movie Incredible Hulk (2008) has been leaked. Scene group TheCrown is responsible for the leak. In the release NFO, the source is mentioned as PAL DVD9. Video bitrate is CCE 6 pass @ 5083kbps and is presented with English, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. The quality should be excellent. Now the next important question would be: How long will it take another P2P or a scene group to release a DVDRip of this movie, now that the full DVD9 is out there?

Update: The Incredible Hulk DVDRip XviD-DoNE is out. 2CD (1.4GB) release.

Get Smart R5 leaked

Posted by TEAM FILEnetworks | 9/10/2008 | | 1 Comments »

I was looking forward for this one. An R5 (DVD for region 5) rip of popular movie Get Smart has been leaked by veteran scene group mVs (maVensSupplier). The release has DVD quality video and LiNE audio (Russian audio replaced by an external English source obtained from a previous TS). It comes in 1CD standard quality and since mVs is behind the rip, I wouldn't have any doubts about the quality. To view more information about the leaked release including screen caps, check this link.

As for the movie, Get Smart has a decent IMDB rating of 7.3.

DVD Screener of Wall-E leaked

Posted by TEAM FILEnetworks | 9/08/2008 | | 0 Comments »

A DVD Screener of the popular Pixar animated movie Wall-E has been leaked to Internet. Well known scene group ALLiANCE is responsible for the leak and soon it will spread to FTP sites, UseNet newsgroups, one click hosting sites and bittorrent trackers across the world.

ALLiANCE release has decent video and audio quality but be warned that there are two watermarks one on top of the screen and the other on the bottom. ALLiANCE has blurred the watermarks but have not completely removed them but left trails of 'pink' behind. Something tells me this will be PROPERED soon. Anyway the rip is a standard 1CD (711MB) and is very watchable.

Speaking of the movie, it has a high IMDB rating of 8.7 and as always Pixar seems to have done a wonderful job.

DVDRip of Iron Man leaked

Posted by TEAM FILEnetworks | 9/05/2008 | | 0 Comments »

A DVDRip of popular movie Iron Man has been leaked to Internet. The first to release this DVDRip was the well known scene group BestDivx. However their release had German subtitles hardcoded into the video, hence they labeled the released as Internal. The hardcoded subs do not always appear but appear when characters speak foreign languages which is only a handful times in the movie.

Now P2P group DEViSE has released another version on private trackers (and soon on public) and it also does seem to have the hardcoded subs. Both releases are 2CD (1.38GB) and features DVD Quality video and AC3 CD Quality audio. The DEViSE release will not be tracked by scene exclusive trackers as it is a P2P group. Speaking of the movie, it has an impressive IMDB rating of 8.2 and the trailers look cool. Looking forward for this one.

A DVD Screener of the latest Mummy movie (Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) has been leaked to bittorrent sites across the world. It is not a scene group that is responsible for the leak this time around but the P2P group GRiM. Movie studios go to great lengths to prevent copies of movies to be leaked to the Internet and the onto street vendors. However most of the time the scene outsmarts the movie studios. Only today, a VHS Screener of the popular movie Iron Man got leaked to Internet and is being downloaded by thousands of individuals worldwide. Scene group OPTiC is responsible for the leak. As this is a VHS screener, the video quality is above TS/CAM but is below that of an R5 or a DVDrip. More information on the movie and the release can be found here.

Die hard fans of the movie may choose to wait for the DVDrip to enjoy the movie with better audio and video. In fact, a DVDrip is rumored to hit the scene sometime in the next two weeks.

It was only a matter of time for this to be released by the scene. Russian trackers began tracking the R5 with Russian audio yesterday and scene group PUKKA has come up with an English audio version after only a few hours. The video is on par with DVD quality and the audio is from a TS source.

Expect both private and public trackers to soon track this torrent (some already do) and expect a lot of leechers on this initially as this is a highly anticipated movie. I personally loved the first part of the movie and the second looks good with an IMDB rating of 7.8.

An R5 rip of the highly popular movie 'The Bank Job' has been leaked to bittorrent few hours ago. The first group to release the movie was iAPULA which is a non scene P2P group. Then the scene group TRD stole the P2P release and re released as their own (Which was nuked). Finally group BaLD has released a 1CD (700MB) rip from their own source. The quality is excellent as usual.

The Bank Job is a 2008 crime film based on a 1971 true-life robbery of a bank in Baker Street, London, from which the money and valuables stolen were never recovered. The story was prevented from being told because of a D-Notice government gagging order, allegedly to protect a prominent member of the British Royal Family. According to the producers, this movie is intended to reveal the truth for the first time, although it includes significant elements of fiction and the extent to which it represents historical fact is difficult to determine.

Filming began on September 25, 2006 in Vancouver with Tom Woodruff, Jr. and Alec Gillis from Amalgamated Dynamics handling the special effects (as they did for the previous installment) and Daniel Pearl as director of photography. The Brothers Strause (Colin and Greg Strause) directed the movie from a script by Shane Salerno.Actors Steven Pasquale and Reiko Aylesworth play leading roles in the film.

A little town in the hills of Colorado will become the battleground between two of the deadliest extra-terrestrial lifeforms - the Alien and the Predator. When a Predator scout ship crash-lands in the hills outside the town, Alien facehuggers are released in the crash, and an even more evil creature - a hybrid Alien/Predator - is also released. A man & his son hunting in the forests near the crash site soon become the first victims of the facehuggers, and when a Predator receives data about the crash on his home planet, he comes to Earth. One at a time, the inhabitants of the town become targets of the Aliens and the Predator, including the local sheriff, a young female soldier recently returned from Iraq, and several teens. Though the National Guard is called in, they are unable to stop the deadly creatures, and a plan is set in motion to destroy the town with a nuclear device… An R3 copy of the file was released to P2P networks by P2P group (non scene) AKCPE. It has a DVD quality video with English LINE audio.

Alvin And The Chipmunks (R5 LINE)

Alvin and the Chipmunks is a 2007 family film about the life and return of the musical group Alvin and the Chipmunks (and in the animated series of the same name). It is directed by Tim Hill and produced by Bagdasarian Productions, New Regency Productions, and 20th Century Fox.

This live-action/computer-animated update of Ross Bagdasarian’s squeaky-voiced cartoon characters finds the chipmunks (in CGI form) transported from their woodland habitat to the city, where they wind up in the home of Dave Seville (Jason Lee). Dave, a down-on-his-luck songwriter, realizes the potential of a singing chipmunk pop act, and becomes an unlikely mentor/father figure to feisty Alvin, brainy Simon, and dopey Theodore. Meanwhile, the threesome causes chaos in his life, leading to plenty of fun, frenetic scenarios. When a devious record executive (David Cross) enters the picture, however, Alvin and the Chipmunks must deal with both the trappings of fame and their loyalty to the amiable, hapless Dave. An R5 copy of the movie has been released by popular scene group PUKKA. It's already been leaked to several bit torrent sites including the pirate bay.

To those who still miss TV-LINKS

Posted by TEAM FILEnetworks | 12/20/2007 | , , | 3 Comments »

TV Links was a website that contained links to television programming and movies from around the world and movies submitted by users. No actual content was hosted on TV-Links, all content was hosted on external websites and the servers were physically located in the Netherlands. On 18th of October 2007, all hell broke loose when the site was raided, shut down and the owner was arrested by the police. Many people who used the site for their entertainment needs were left stranded.

As with the demise of any popular site, several more smaller sites popped up on the net to fill the gap left by TV-Links. Some of them succeeded and some of them soon went offline. Here is a list of popular TV-LINKs alternatives:
